A determined woman raising her hand at sunrise, symbolizing commitment to achieving her dreams.

“You don’t rise to the level of your goals. You fall to the level of your commitment.”

Jim Rohn

Committed or Interested?

What does it really take to achieve more in your life? Are you someone who is truly committed to achieving what you say you will, or are you sitting on the sidelines, just interested in the idea of achieving more?

There is a massive difference between the two—and which side of the equation you stand on will give you the results you life.

You may want to:

  • Want yo start that business idea; but went back to square one.

  • Want to achieve a health goal; but you gave up.

  • Want launch your book idea; but you just felt it was too hard.

It just seems to become a part of the circle, I want, I want, I want.

But when it comes to getting, nothing ever really happens right.

Frustrating right? Annoying? Stuck? Questioning?

If this sounds familiar.

Firstly understand this:

Is Success A Straight Line?

Many people think that success is a straight line—but is it really? Or does success come with ups and downs, like everything else in life?

Does success come with fear, doubt, worry, stress, and anxiety?

Totally, yes.

Success is not a straight path. If it were, you’d see many more people at the top of the hill. But why aren’t they there?

Because they haven’t decided.

But is that really, really, really the key? decision. Yes, it sure is.

Which side of life do you choose to be on—the committed or the interested side?

You can hope and wish a million times for things to get better...  but how many times can you keep running that same old loop before finally saying to yourself:

"I am truly done" "This is just the way life is!"

but you know what doesn’t have to be.

🔍 Look Back At History:

Albert Einstein didn’t speak until the age of four.

Thomas Edison’s teachers said he was "too stupid to learn anything."

Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper for "lack of imagination" and "no original ideas."

Steve Jobs was devastated when he was abruptly removed from the company he started at age 30.

Michael Jordan was cut from his high school basketball team for "lack of skill."

The Wright Brothers were initially ridiculed and doubted, with many claiming that human flight was impossible.

You see, each of these individuals wasn’t just interested—they were Committed.

They had 1000s of rejection, failure, and difficulty, yet they remained focused on what they wanted to achieve, no matter what.

How come you’re not at that level?

Success Is Here:

Think of how many people have achieved what you want? or have wanted to achieve.

What seemed impossible became possible.

The question is not: “Can I get there?” — it’s “How committed am I, really?”

Note this: You have the power. You have the wisdom. And you certainly have what it takes within you.... But are you using your energy and focus on commitment, or are you just being interested?

Are Your Truly Committed or Just Interested?

There’s a massive difference.

Like many in life, I was someone who was strolling through life merely interested . Maybe I could achieve more, I thought. But when it came down to it, I let what I desired slip away—again and again. That was until something clicked after watching the video I just shared with you and reading a powerful page from John Assaraf’s book, Innercise .

Are you committed or just interested.  Everything changed.

Well, what is the difference between someone who is committed to achieving more in their life and someone who is merely interested?

The truth is, as John Assaraf, once asked his mentor:

“Are you interested in achieving those goals, or are you committed?”

“Uhhhhh... well.”

What are the differences?

 If You're Interested...

- You'll choose the easiest option.

- You'll make excuses about why you can't.

- You will allow your previous or present situations to impact your thinking and behavior.

- You will not accept the discomfort of change—even though it is absolutely required if you truly want to break free from your present ideas, behaviors, and outcomes.

 If You're Committed...

- You’ll do whatever it takes.

- You’ll take action despite your doubts and fears.

- You’ll upgrade your knowledge, skills, and beliefs and expand what’s possible for you.

- If you’re really committed, you’ll let go of anything holding you back.

You see, there are two sides to a coin - you choose, there is always two sides to everything in life.

It’s not just a few words—it’s a decision that co-creates everything in your life and future.

But what do you truly, truly choose?

Interested or Committed?

“Your brain doesn’t care how you feel — it cares what you do repeatedly.”

It isn’t about waiting to feel motivated. It was about choosing to act, regardless of how I felt.

Interested says:

- “I’d like to do this.”

- “I’ll try when I feel ready.”

- “I’ll start tomorrow.”

Committed says:

- “I’m doing this no matter what.”

- “I will show up even when I don’t feel like it.”

- “This is who I am becoming.”

Discover Now Are You Interested or Committed?

Now I ask you to got through this & truly reflect:

Step 1: Name Your Goal

What is one goal you really, really, really want to achieve in the next 6 months to 1 year?

Step 2: Ask Yourself:

  • Am I genuinely committed to achieving this?

  • What would I be willing to sacrifice?

  • What would I be willing to do — even if I fail?

 Interested...

 Committed...

- You’ll do whatever it takes.

- You’ll take action despite your doubts and fears.

- You’ll upgrade your knowledge, skills, and beliefs and expand what’s possible for you.

- If you’re really committed, you’ll let go of anything holding you back.

Step 3:

Make a Declaration Write down:

“I commit to [goal], no matter what it takes.”

Then start one small action today for the next 100 days no matter what — even if it’s just 10 minutes — to prove it to yourself.

Which side of this equation do you stand.

The Truth About Commitment

Here’s what they won’t tell you:

Commitment doesn’t mean never failing.

It means getting back up every time you fall.

It doesn’t mean always feeling confident.

It means moving forward even when you’re afraid.

And it doesn’t mean having all the answers.

It means asking the right questions and seeking help along the way.

💥 Take The Next Step Toward Real Commitment — Right Now

You’ve read this far because something inside you knows it’s time for change.

Maybe you've felt it for years — that quiet voice saying:

“You were born for more than this.”

“You are capable of more.”

“Your dreams are worth the effort.”

But knowing isn’t enough.

This is your moment.

Not tomorrow. Not after "one more" distraction.

You were born with dreams inside you — dreams worth more than your doubts, fears, or excuses.

So ask yourself again:

Are you interested… or committed?

Because the world needs your gifts. And your destiny isn’t waiting.

It’s time to stop talking about what you want — and start living as the person who makes it happen.

You are capable. You are worthy. And you have everything within you to begin — right now.

All the best,

Sefika
